How to Join Pakistan Navy As a Commission Officers After Graduation

There are Eight Method to Join the Pakistan Navy as a commission officers after Graduation. A standards or equivalent. Applicants can join the Pakistan Navy through:

1. PNA Long Course

The PNA Long Course has a two-year term, preferably for men. After a two-year training period, the cadets passed as second lieutenants. Eligibility criteria are as follows:

• Average or equal age of 17 to 22 years
• Graduation (2 Years Degree) in charge of and serving in the Pakistan Navy / Pakistan Air Force aged 17 to 23
• Graduation (4 Years Program) BS / BA (Hon) / BBA / BPA lasts from 17 years to 24 years
• Serving in the Armed Forces Soldiers between the ages of 17 and 25 are eligible to apply.

2. Supply Branch For Male

Supply Branch For Male can join the Pak Navy as captains. 

• Minimum 50% marks in B.Com/ BBA (SCM) / M.Com/ MA Economics / MBA (Marketing/Finance) from HEC recognized institutes /university.

3. Medical Branch (GDMOs) 

Specialists in their fields can join Pak Navy as sub-lieutenant and through the Short Service Commission. This includes doctors who have completed their FCPs. They are also trained for 22 weeks.

• MBBS Minimum 2nd Divsion or equivalent qualification recognized by PM & DC
• The Candidates must have registration of PM & DC
• One year house job in PM & DC recognized hospitals.

4. Marine Engineering

The Pak Navy needs the soldiers and their officers to be mentally alert, so they can make difficult decisions without division. Therefore, regular counseling is needed and, therefore, Marine Engineer are needed.

• B.E Mechanical with at least 50% marks from HEC recognized university

5. Education Branch

Students with bachelor degrees from any institution registered in Pakistan can join the Pakistan Navy. Qualified qualifications include:

• Atleast 2nd Division MA/M.Sc/BE/Equivalent(16years of Education) in one of the following disciplines from HEC recognized institutes university.
• - Mathematics
• - Pak Studies
• - Islamic Studies
• - Physics
• - Chemistry
• - Psychology
• - other (that is given in the Advertisement)

 

6. Operations Branch (Aviation, Submarine SSG(N) & Marine)

You can join Pak Navy as Sub-Lieutenant in Operations Branch through the Direct Short Service Commission. The candidate's qualification must be as follows:

• Graduation (14 years of education or above) from HEC recognized university with a minimum of 45% marks.

7. Weapon Engineering

You can join Pak Navy as Sub-Lieutenant in Weapon Engineering through the Direct Short Service Commission. The candidate's qualification must be as follows:

• B.E Electronics with at least 50% marks from HEC recognized university

8. Ordnance Special Branch

You can join Pak Navy as Sub-Lieutenant in Weapon Engineering through the Direct Short Service Commission. The candidate's qualification must be as follows:

• B.E Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic with at least 50% marks from HEC recognized university

9. Special Branch IT

You can join Pak Navy as Sub-Lieutenant in Weapon Engineering through the Direct Short Service Commission. The candidate's qualification must be as follows:

• Masters/Bachelor degree (16 Years of education) with atleast 60% marks from HEC recognized university in the following: 
• Computer Sciences/Software Engineering/ Information Technology/Information Security

Following will be preferred:

1.  Software development/Java Dot Net/ SOL/ Oracle
2.  Networking

Procedures:

An unmarried male and female having age between 17 to 22 years can also apply in Pak Navy on Graduation base. An unmarried male and female having age between 17 to 23 years can also apply in Pak Navy in PC After 2 Year Graduations and An unmarried male and female having age between 17 to 24 years can also apply in Pak Navy on regular commission on graduation 4 years bases.. You will be recruiting as a commission officers in Pak Navy after completing the process of joining.

Qualification: 

•     Graduation (2 or 4 years program) Or Master With Minimum 2.5 CGPA

Height: 

•      5 feet and 4 inches (5’4”) i.e. (160 cm)

Nationality:

•      Pakistani and Domicile Holders of Any Province

Chest: 

•      31 x 33 (78 x 83 CM)

 

    

Registration and Selection procedure:

There are two ways to register in the Pakistan Navy. It could be that you can register online or at military recruiting centers. The candidates can register on the website www.joinpaknavy.gov.pk The date and time of the test will be announced after the Application will approve.

• The first step in the process of selecting written / intellectual tests, based on MCQs taken from English, Pak Studies, Islamiyat and General Knowledge.
• The second step of the selection process is that the candidates for the Written / Intelligence Test will appear in a physical exercise that includes a 1.6 km race in 8 and a half minutes, 15 Push Ups in 2 minutes, 15 Sit Ups in 2 minutes. , three Chin Chin in 2 minutes and above all a canal crossing 7'.4 ”x 7'.4” at a depth of 4 '.
• At the third stop the nominees will be interviewed at AS&RC.
• In the fourth category shortlist candidates will appear for the ISSB test.
• In the end, the candidates will appear for a thorough medical examination and thereafter will be called for a final interview at the GHQ Selection Board.

Ineligibility Criteria.

• candidate with specific higher qualification, who is rejected once by ISSB for PMA / Graduate course or equivalent Naval / PAF courses and once rejected for specific higher qualification entry, will not be eligible for third chance
• Candidates tested within four months (120 days) gap of previous appearance (for Not Recommended candidates)
• Candidates tested within one year validity period (as validity of ISSB / GHQ / AHQ selection board stands for one year)
• Candidates declared unfit by any Armed Forces hospital (CMB / CMH) except those declared medically fit by Appeal Medical Board (AMB). The candidates declared unfit by CMB / CMH are to remain ineligible until they are declared fit by Appeal Medical Board (AMB)
• Candidates permanently declared unfit by Appeal Medical Board
• Candidates declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B and C (AMB cannot be requested)
• Candidates dismissed / debarred / removed from Government services including Armed Forces
• Candidates withdrawn from any bonded Armed Forces Colleges / Institutions on disciplinary grounds
• Candidates withdrawn from any Academy / Training Institution of Armed Forces on any ground
• Candidates convicted in a court of law for an offence involving moral turpitude
• Candidates who will temper his/her original academic certificates, conceal or give wrong information to gain undue advantage, his candidature will be cancelled and declared permanently ineligible for all types of commission in the Armed Forces
• Thrice screened out by Army / Navy / Air Force during preliminary selection stands ineligible
